Do you feel it too? This was supposed to be the April Newsletter — you know all about the hope spring brings; but all of this wind is making me a bit anxious.
Do you have angst? Are you anxious? Well this April has been anything but calm. The wind has really gotten on my nerves. It is noisy, strong, and often destructive. It brings waves to the otherwise calm river in our area and certainly messes up your hair!
I am really trying hard to find the good in wind. Except for the breath of the Holy Spirit, I am at a loss. So I will find my refuge and strength in Him–as always–and will find a new sense of calm in the forceful winds which will now remind me of His grace and great presence in my life. Now, doesn’t that make it seem a bit better?
This month, my Bible journaling takes me right to Philippians the eleventh book in the New Testament. Philippians 4:6 reminds us, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”
I used a stamp from Great Impressions in the cute graphic above. You can print this out and color it really pretty for a cute bookmark for your Bible.
This is one of my favorite scriptures and it can be found in 3 different decks of My Inspiration Cards. Those decks are Anchored, Blessings, and Peace. Head on over to the shop and pick yours up today!
Thank you for participating in this month’s Bible Journaling.
Blessings to you and yours; may you find health, happiness, safety, and above all else–God’s love, comfort, and grace,
